About

Our Supported Playgroup has served the community of Wattle Grove for over 10 years. To address the ever growing need within the Liverpool and Camden communities, our playgroup is now delivered at schools within those LGAs.

At The Junction Works we continue to meet the community expectations and listen to our families advice and feedback on how to grow and improve our program each and every year. We know playgroup is a great way for the child/ren to learn about the world, make friends and develop social skills. Playgroup also gives mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers a chance to share ideas and experiences. Many long-term friendships begin at Playgroup.

Our activities include weekly craft, story time, rhyme time, and parachute games, as well as themed weeks such as Christmas, Halloween, messy play, and much more!

We book out each and every term and always incur a waitlist with families eager to secure a spot for their child/ren to attend our playgroup.

Services

A welcoming playgroup for children 0–5 and their carers, using songs, stories, and the Child Parent Mother Goose program.
Our service provides a welcoming and safe environment for children to engage in activities that enhance their self-help skills, cognitive development, and fine and gross motor skills through play-based learning. Children also have the opportunity to participate in excursions, giving them new experiences and helping to build social and life skills in real-world settings. Our program is based at our Holsworthy OOSH Centre, where children can explore, learn, and grow in a supportive and engaging environment.
Our Before and After School Care offers a safe and friendly space where children can relax, learn, and have fun outside of school hours. The program combines play-based activities that support physical, cognitive, and social development with access to computers and homework support. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence, and enjoy a balanced mix of learning and recreation in a supportive environment.
The Junction Works has several Supported Independent Living homes throughout South West Sydney and we are ready to support you, or your loved ones with respite and emergency accommodation.
