The Junction Works Austral Day Program is an NDIS-funded service that provides a supportive and engaging daytime environment for people with disability to build independence, develop life skills, and connect with others. Through a range of structured activities including; cooking, creative arts, fitness, and community outings, participants are supported to achieve their personal goals, enhance their confidence, and actively participate in their community. The program focuses on fostering social inclusion, wellbeing, and practical skills in a safe and inclusive setting.

 
 

The Junction Works Busby Day Program is a specialised, NDIS-funded service designed to support participants with higher behavioural needs in a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment. The program delivers tailored, person-centred activities that focus on developing emotional regulation, communication, and daily living skills, while promoting positive behaviours and wellbeing. With a strong emphasis on consistency, routine, and skilled support, participants are engaged in meaningful activities that build confidence, encourage social connection, and enhance independence in a respectful and inclusive setting.

 
 

Transport

We offer reliable and flexible transport services to support participants in accessing their daily activities and programs. We provide safe and convenient pick-up and drop-off from home to our day programs, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. In addition, our transport services enable participants to engage in a variety of community outings, promoting social connection, independence, and active participation in the community. Our experienced team members prioritise safety, comfort, and individual needs, making every journey supportive and inclusive.

Respite

Disability Transport Services Western Sydney | The Junction Works

 

The Junction Works offers engaging and flexible respite services that provide participants with the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy new experiences in a supportive environment. From unique overnight stays like Taronga Zoo’s “Roar and Snore,” to attending live footy games or enjoying stays in luxury hotels in the Sydney CBD, our respite options are designed to be both fun and meaningful. These experiences promote independence, social connection, and personal growth, while giving participants a chance to explore new environments with the support of our experienced and caring team.

Services

A welcoming playgroup for children 0–5 and their carers, using songs, stories, and the Child Parent Mother Goose program.
Our service provides a welcoming and safe environment for children to engage in activities that enhance their self-help skills, cognitive development, and fine and gross motor skills through play-based learning. Children also have the opportunity to participate in excursions, giving them new experiences and helping to build social and life skills in real-world settings. Our program is based at our Holsworthy OOSH Centre, where children can explore, learn, and grow in a supportive and engaging environment.
Our Before and After School Care offers a safe and friendly space where children can relax, learn, and have fun outside of school hours. The program combines play-based activities that support physical, cognitive, and social development with access to computers and homework support. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence, and enjoy a balanced mix of learning and recreation in a supportive environment.
The Junction Works has several Supported Independent Living homes throughout South West Sydney and we are ready to support you, or your loved ones with respite and emergency accommodation.
We can support you to apply for the NDIS, assisting you to understand and utilise your NDIS Plan, and support you with NDIS reviews.
The Junction Works friendly and experienced team of Support Coordinators can support you to maximise your NDIS Plan and supports.
Informative and fun workshops for primary and high schools based on contemporary topics such as bullying, mental health, social media, healthy relationships, anger management, drugs, and alcohol.
