Careers

At The Junction Works we are committed to creating opportunities for growth, development and learning for all employees. We actively seek talented individuals and provide them with the chance to excel in their chosen field. As a result our employees are skilled, dedicated professionals.

Salary Packaging can increase your take home pay

As a not-for-profit organisation, we are recognised by the Australian Tax Office (ATO) as a Public Benevolent Institution and as such we are afforded concessional Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) treatment. This means that eligible employees are able to take advantage of salary packaging to receive up to an additional $15,900 of their salary tax-free – making a real difference to your take home pay.

Learning and Development Opportunities

As an organisation The Junction Works is continuously growing and developing and we actively encourage our employees to do the same. We encourage and support employees to continue learning, developing further skills and increasing their competencies through the provision of in-house education and external courses.

We operate within a performance based framework and by offering regular supervision and appraisal we can discuss career goals and ensure these are met. The Junction Works' performance framework gives staff the opportunity to:

  • Discuss career goals with supervising managers
  • Identify areas for further training and development
  • Apply internally for role opportunities as they arise

Work Life Balance

The Junction Works offers flexible working opportunities and recognises that people have competing priorities outside of work due to family, study and other commitments. We support staff to manage these dual roles by offering:

  • Full time, part time and casual employment
  • Flexible start and finish times where possible
  • Carer leave and family leave
  • Flexible working arrangements

Employee Assistance Program

At The Junction Works our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all staff and their immediate family. It is a free service because we believe that less stress equals a happier and more productive workforce. Through the confidential service you can access professional advice to help cope with life's difficult issues. You can choose between face-to-face or telephone counselling during work hours. Telephone counselling is available 24/7.

The Junction Works is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and encourage applications from people with disability.
