Chair Person and Board of Directors
Greg Smith is the Chair of the Board of The Junction Works, joining as a Director in 2012.
Greg is a CPA with extensive executive management, leadership and project delivery experience and knowledge of local government, electricity and the not-for-profit sectors. He has been responsible for strategic, operational and service delivery functions and has a proven track record in initiating and delivering business change through strategic corporate projects, service delivery reviews, business process improvements and innovation through ICT and partnerships. His experiences extends to financial modelling frameworks for operations and property development.
Greg is a Senior Consultant with Morrison Low, and has held senior positions with Parramatta City Council and Evolve Housing. Greg has a Master of Business and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Keri’s business career includes experience in superannuation, investment consulting, institutional marketing, and sales and management.
She holds an MBA (Exec.) from AGSM and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees.
Keri is also a non-executive director of Women in Super, a not-for-profit association which provides networking opportunities for women in the industry and is the largest donor/fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Keri joined The Junction Works Board in late 2010.
Susan is a qualified accountant (CPA) and corporate governance professional (ACIS) with over 30 years experience holding executive and senior management roles with ASX listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. She holds a degree in accounting, an MBA (international business) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD). Susan runs her own business providing corporate governance advice and services. She is a director of The Junction Works, Link Housing Ltd and Australian Small Scale Offerings Board Limited. Susan joined The Junction Works in early 2008.
Helen Lyons is a senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in Strategic and Operational Leadership including Human Resources Management. Helen started her career in the Superannuation and Investment Banking Sector where she specialised in managing superannuation portfolios, including those of LendLease and AMP, with a value of up to $500m Funds under Management serving over 500,000 customers. Between 2004 and 2010, Helen held the role of Director Human Resources at the University of Western Sydney. Her commitment to diversity ensured that UWS became a leader in Indigenous Employment and Engagement.
Helen thrives in dynamic and creative environments where her leadership skills are fully engaged in effecting positive and critical change. Helen has forged strong relationships with many networks and industries and is widely known as a “people connector”, assisting her peers and other people within organisations to make valuable business and community links. Helen is relentless about social inclusion and providing opportunities for people from all walks of life to be the best that they can be. Helen joined the Board of The Junction Works in 2008.
Tim is a self-employed investment manager with a legal and conflict management background. He holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Law and in the past has practised as both a solicitor and barrister.
Tim is passionately interested in social justice and the work of charitable organisations. He is also a Director of Garrigal Housing Association Ltd. Tim joined The Junction Works in 2009.
Tina has over 24 years international experience in the property industry, having worked in London, Hong Kong and Australia managing many successful mixed-use developments across all property sectors, and commercial office assets in particular.
Tina commenced her career in Australia before moving to London in 1987 to work on several boutique commercial developments and then moved to Hong Kong to work on several large infrastructure projects. Tina returned to Australia in 1997, as Project Director for LendLease before joining Brookfield Multiplex where she eventually took on the role of Director of Capital Transactions.
In August 2008, Tina joined Investa Property Group where as the Group General Manager of Commercial Developments, she had overall responsibility for the growth and strategic direction of the Developments business through the challenging global economic conditions at the time. Tina is currently a director of Jattca, a property consulting business. Tina has been affiliated with Property Council of Australia as the Chair of NSW Capital Markets and Investment Committee and a Member of Divisional Council. Tina commenced on the Board of The Junction Works early 2011.
